Results 2020

We are delighted to announce the results of Wingword Poetry Competition 2020. In this year’s competition, we received participation from over 1300 participants from 16 countries across the world. We thank all participants for sharing their poetry in its most sincere and heartfelt form with us. 

Congratulations to the winners and commendable mentions and huge thanks to all participants for making this year’s competition a memorable one!

Winners

The First Prize of One Lakh Rupees has been awarded to Neal Hall, a resident of Philadelphia for his poem ‘Matriarchal Patriarch’. Click here to read the poem.

The Second Prize of Fifty Thousand Rupees has been awarded to Zarin Virji, a resident of Mumbai for her poem ‘The Killing Fields’. Click here to read the poem.
