Luna | Riddhi Redekar

Can you stop loving her, she's surrounded with the thoughts of Philophobia

She felt some burden on her crown, the busy crowded city lights- dust smoke brown

From the day you fell for her and trusted her soothing light

Walks on the road, each day past by the window sight

You frame her like a picture on the walls of your soul

A thought of the borderline to cross and die, vanishes the moment with her when you cry

She knows how you feel, she wants you to be free

She knows you're tired, she knows your heart wants to dive long deep into the sea

Her wish to keep you safe and hold you tight

So you could shine just like her moonlight

She's made up of soft colors who loves vibrant rays

She turns up the mood when anyone's red

She loves star constellations every month she passes by

No light years need her to reach your sky

She shines through the summer and winter skies

She's the promise, the secrets and the thousands of lies

But,

She's afraid, she's terrified, she thinks her shadow would ruin your side

She'll betray you with her changing phases and changing nights

Her mysterious glow hides her past and flaws

A peek into her chest box would make you realize

The more you see the more you'll die

Stolen energy, the fact she can't deny

Yellow, red, pink skin and her names can't be defined

She'll leave you by the end no moonlight for four days

She'll leave you in your darkness, empty picture frames

These thoughts of her kills her inside

Its not her.

If you love her she'll love you back more

If you trust her she'll build you up more

If you're yourself in front of her she'll accept you the way and could never pretend her

But if you'll try to claim her as yours she'll pass by in secrecy

Just love her image and then she's all you need

You know her faults, you know her spots

You hate her sound but you still wants to feel her

With all these, she'll keep quite.

On one very lunar night,

She'll ask for the reason why,

you showed her trust and believed her words?

Who isn't perfect and is of kind worst?

At the end, the blue moon will rise,

and will show her only that side.
